Though I have experienced managing several companies, this roofing business I started with my partner required a completely different marketing strategy. We decided in the dead of winter 2007 to advertise in two of the Coffee News editions with Christine.  I thought it was a good value considering all the marketing experience she has to offer on top of the exposure in her papers.  After about 3 months, we had tracked at least 4 jobs directly to the Coffee News ad even though it was WINTER TIME!  It really works, so we quickly decided to get in all five of her papers.  The level of experience she has is a great benefit to us when we need a second opinion on marketing or advertising ideas.  We are very happy, and our ads prove this paper sells.

"Coffee News has been AMAZING for my business!"  Christine, I had to take a minute to thank you for your expertise in building my business.  I began as an independent contractor only 6 months ago, and Coffee News has helped me grow faster than I EVER expected! New patients call me every week from my ad!  Your marketing advice has been just as valuable!  I have a successful, growing business and am so thankful for your part in making my dream a reality!  Thank you for truly caring about your clients' success.  I'm blessed to know you and get to work with you and I look forward to many successful years in business together! together!

I have been advertising in Coffee News of Johnson County for more than 2 years.  There is no more feasible way to saturate the market area and become a household name.  I am convinced I achieve all of this without breaking the bank. This paper does what it sets out to do.  It grabs your attention while waiting for "coffee" or eating a meal.  People readily fold this little paper and take it with them - I see it happen myself!  In addition, the publisher calls us together regularly to share our experiences as business owners.  She also shares her knowledge which she has gleaned from the advertising world - as well as being a former retail owner herself.  That, alone, is worth much of what we pay!  This has further kept me from making costly advertising errors.  These are the reasons I will continue to advertise in Coffee News!

As an avid reader of Coffee News myself, I was surprised at the affordability of advertising in this publication.  The first day our ads went out, we received 4 phone calls within a few hours!  We've tried several different advertising mediums and have been very impressed with the volume of calls and successful bookings we have received through Coffee News!  We'll continue to use Coffee News and think all small businesses should consider trying an ad placement in this publication!  Kudos to Christine and her staff.  Thank you for helping us reach a new audience!

I spent 8 years brainstorming the idea of owning, managing and and running my own health & fitness business while managing a company in a completely different industry.  With every entrepreneurial endeavor there comes risk, challenges…and rewards.  One of the biggest challenges that first came to me as a business owner was developing a marketing strategy to get the word out about my business.  It may have been luck, but I like to say it was my own business savvy that caused me pursue advertising with Christine in Coffee News.  I was amazed at the exposure that two of her papers gave me in just the first 3 weeks.  I received enough business to pay for two months of advertising with her.  Recently I received three clients in one week from the same Coffee News paper in the Olathe area which is why I am adding advertising in the third paper with Coffee News this year.  It has exceeded my expectations in every way, which I cannot say for every marketing endeavor I have pursued.  Risks and challenges are inevitable as a business owner; I feel rewarded that I found and have advertised with Coffee News!

"The exposure is there. I believe people are seeing the ads and therefore increasing their awareness and my name recognition. I like the flexibility of the ad content as well as the inter-linking of various media. I get the same exposure for less cost as the local paper and actually get better results!"

"An important and attractive element of Coffee News to me is the ability to advertise directly to the area of town that I am teaching in. The response to the ad has been wonderful and it certainly has proven to be an effective advertising tool for my program. I appreciate the cost-effective nature as well as the quality of the ad. I would like to see the Journal-Star try to match it!!!  While I was only able to run my ad for a short time before my classes began... I still felt I got my money's worth."
